Viele denken bei Pflanzenmilch so wie ich früher an die Tetrapacks im Supermarkt, die Haferdrink, Reis/Kokosdrink oder ähnliches enthalten. Meist sind die Produkte gesüßt und mit Zusatzstoffen versetzt, obendrein noch ziemlich teuer. Das ist doch nichts für einen Zero Waster, oder? So dachte ich anfangs auch.

Zero Waste on my journeys – Malaysia

Malaysia is incredibly versatile – which was one of the reasons for me to come back here for travel during my internship in Singapore. However, I already wrote this article in June when I was travelling in Malaysia and Thailand for five months on my route from Bangkok to Singapore. Malaysia has surprisingly much to offer, not only in terms of travel, but also in terms of zero waste.

Malaysia ist unglaublich vielseitig – was einer der Gründe für mich war, auch während meines Praktikums in Singapur für Reisen hierher zurückzukehren. Turn on the tap and just take a big sip of the cool water: Taken for granted in most Central European countries, but much more problematic in most parts of the world. This is also the case in Thailand, where I am currently spending my exchange time. Most people „solve“ the problem with plastic bottles. I have looked for better options which can help you at home or on your next trip to ensure a waste-free drinking water supply.
